I have just discovered this effect - called 'Tiltshifting' - that makes things appear as they are a minature model.
Even better just discovered the website www.tiltshiftmaker.com that does it free online. Yet again it is twitter that pointed the way for me - this time via a 'follower' of a 'follower'. It does not cease to amaze me how useful a resource twitter is being.
This is the first photo I tried - Djemaa El Fna square in Marrakesh. I feel some more experiments coming on. Watch this space.
